North Peel & Dufferin Community Legal Services will host a community consultation on Legal Aid Ontario’s (LAO’s) Racialized Community Strategy on Wednesday, March 28th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. LAO is developing a racialized communities strategy. Legal Aid wants to improve its services to racialized communities. Part of this strategy is community consultations where people can come and talk directly with LAO about their experiences in using legal aid services and how those can be improved.

North Peel & Dufferin Community Legal Services has partnered with Industrial Accident Victims Group of Ontario (IAVGO) so that injured workers getting help from IAVGO no longer have to travel to Toronto. IAVGO is a community legal clinic specializing in workers’ compensation cases. They represent injured workers across Ontario in their Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) cases.
