Gay Pride Month

June is Pride month, a month long celebration for the LGBTTQ+ communities. Sadly, there will not be public parades or other demonstrations of support this year, due to COVID-19. However, there will still be on-line and physically distant celebrations! North Peel & Dufferin Community Legal Services offers a safe space for members of the Queer community and we wish everyone a joyful Pride Month.

Sparked by recent incidents, the protests have grown to encompass frustration over the continuing presence of racism in Canada and the lack of progress on this front.
